The "Zipp” Spot Weld Drill applies the cutting pressure pneumatically and the operator does not have to push on the drill bit, the patented valved cylinder applies constant gentle pressure toward the panel. This “Smart” pressure valve helps prevent breakage of bits and applies correct consistent pressure from the first to the last spot weld, ensuring the long life of your bits.
The "Zipp" Spot Weld Drill lets you easily adjust the drilling depth by simply turning the adjustment ring. Simply drill through the top panel and leave the underlying panel clean and ready for the replacement, no plugs to grind off and no pilot drill holes to fill. The slow 1600 rpm motor ensures that you do not burn up bits prematurely and is perfect for both high strength (HSS) and Boron steel (UHSS).
